Job Description: Produce weekly/daily reports based on the status of key projects and key initiatives; Use industry-specific software and trucking management platforms (DAT Power Board, Truckstop, Samsara, HireRight, GPS Tab, etc.); Utilize customer management platforms (Amazon Relay, UPS Freight Board, FedEx Load Board, etc.); Manage department managers, provide guidance on a daily basis; Closely monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) in safety compliance, quality assurance, dispatch, and fleet management; Prepare the annual fleet business plan and fleet operations budget for the department to support appropriate business decisions. Work various shifts, as needed, including evenings, weekends, and some holidays (for example: Black Friday).
Business trips for educational and training purposes are required, 2-3 times a year and not longer than 1 week.

Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics/Business Management or Business Administration or Finance or Economics
Work experience: 18 months in logistics
Special Skills and Other Requirements:
– Working knowledge and experience in load boards (ex: Amazon Relay, UPS/USPS/FedEx, DAT Power Board and Truckstop)
– Limited understanding of Department of Transportation (“DOT”) and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (“FMCSA”) regulations to include HOS and ELD management.
– Working knowledge of On Board/GPS Systems/Satellite tracking and communications software
– Understanding PSP and MVR Reporting systems (including drug tests, screening and other procedures)
